RUSTON – LA Tech takes part in its second golf event this season as the Bulldogs compete in the GMAC Invitational, a three-day tournament hosted by UAB.

ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH
LA Tech will send four individuals – Gray Kingrea, Joel Thomas Stephens, Riley Hnatyshyn, and Peyton Johnson – to the GMAC Invitational.
 
Hnatyshyn tied for the third best finish by a Bulldog in the season-opening event at the Argent Financial Classic.  The sophomore shot 73-75-71=219 (+3) to tied for 39th, his highest finish as a Bulldog.  
 
Stephens also had a strong end at LA Tech's home tournament, tying for 55th after shooting 77-73-72=222 (+6).  Peyton Johnson also participated, shooting 77-74-76=227 (+11).  The freshman, Kingrea, will be participating in his first career collegiate event.
