ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (2-2)
LA Tech enters its home opener having split its first four dual matches of the spring, collecting neutral-site wins over Wyoming and Omaha while dropping road matches to Tulsa and LSU.

The Bulldogs have picked up both Conference USA Athlete of the Week honors so far this season.Â
Ana Rodrigues was awarded the honor in week one after going a combined 5-1 at the Hurricane Invite. And this week,
Olga Bienzobas picked up the selection after defeating 56th-ranked Kinaa Graham of LSU in singles, the second-highest ranked singles victory in program history.

Bienzobas leads the way so far this spring with a 3-1 record from the No. 1 position While
Alexia Romero, who also registered a win at LSU, is 2-1 from the No. 6 spot.Â

In doubles, Rodrigues and
Valentina Vasquez have teamed up to go 3-1 at court two. All three wins came in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the Hurricane Invite.

The Bulldogs look to continue their home court dominance, having gone 28-4 at the LA Tech Tennis Complex over the last three seasons.

ABOUT LOUISIANA CHRISTIAN (0-0)
Louisiana Christian is set to play its first women's tennis match in over 1,000 days since the program was put on hiatus back in late April of 2021.

The Wildcats are led by head coach Alexandra Starkova who played at LA Tech from 2013-16 and is considered to be one of the greatest Bulldogs in program history. She was a five-time All-Conference selection, ranking in the top five in school history for career singles wins.

Sunday's match will mark the first ever meeting between LA Tech and Louisiana Christian.

ABOUT SOUTHERN ARKANSAS (0-0)
Southern Arkansas will open its spring season in Ruston on Sunday, taking on Louisiana Christian and LA Tech. The Muleriders went 11-14 last season.

The key returner for SAU is Annika Berrendorf who went 12-6 in singles last season, the second most dual wins on the team. She also tied for the most doubles victories with nine.

LA Tech is undefeated all-time versus Southern Arkansas with a 21-0 record. The Bulldogs and Muleriders faced off in a doubleheader last season with LA Tech winning, 4-0 and 7-0.Â
