QUOTABLES
Head Coach
Amber McCray
Â
"We have had a difficult stretch to open conference for sure, but we also know the five teams we have played thus far are currently sitting in the top 5 spots of the CUSA standings. We still believe we can accomplish some important goals we have set for this team this season, and that can start this week at MTSU. We have the talent to win games in this league, but we are needing to execute complete matches and performances to finish these close sets we have been losing by 2-3 points and thus put us in position to win games. MTSU has always been a difficult place to play by the atmosphere they create in their gym, so it's going to be important for us to block out the noise and focus in on "what's important now" in each moment. Good things happen for us when we serve and pass well, so that will be our first key to executing all other facets of the game this week."
