RUSTON, La. – Louisiana Tech will open up conference play at home against Jacksonville State on Friday night at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park, with a first pitch time of 6 PM.

ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (17-6)
Tech is coming off a 6-4  victory over Nicholls on Wednesday night in Thibodaux. Will Safford hit a late-game two-run home run to carry the Bulldogs to a victory Wednesday night. Tech is batting .302 with an OB% of .408 and slugging percentage of .459. Ethan Bates leads the team with six saves on the year. 

ABOUT JACKSONVILLE STATE (9-11)
The Gamecocks are coming off a recent 7-3 loss against Samford on Tuesday night at home. As a team Jax State is batting .241 with a slugging percentage of .431 and OB% of .364. Bear Madliak leads the team in batting average (.316) and hits with 25. 

THE SERIES
It will be the first time that both programs will compete against each other.

During the 2024 season, a limited number of single-game reserved chairback tickets may be available on a game-by-game basis. Any opportunities for unclaimed single-game tickets will go on sale, if available, no earlier than 24 hours before the scheduled first pitch.

Single-game standing-room only and right-field berm tickets are also available on a game-by-game basis for $15.
