BATON ROUGE, La. —The Louisiana Tech track and field teams set 13 top 50 marks and 11 personal bests on Saturday at the Keyth Talley Invitational at Bernie Moore Track Stadium.
Freshman standout A'reil Williams continues to put the country on notice in the high jump. Williams moved into No. 11 in the country with her first-place jump of 1.76m (5'9.25''). That improved her mark of 1.75m set during the opening weekend and moved her into a tie for third in program history.
Jianna Stewartburgess finished right behind her in second with a height of 1.71m (5'7.25''), just outside the top 10 in program history and No. 25 in the nation on the season.
Other top-five finishes in the field events include Elizabeth Sebera in the hammer throw with 52.72m (172'11'') to finish fifth and set a new personal best. Jenna Gibson also set a personal best in the javelin with a throw of 42.63m (139'10'') to finish third in the event. DaLoria Boone finished fifth in the long jump with 5.67m (18'7.25'').
Rodney Heath Jr. improved on his 100m time from the opening weekend. Heath Jr. finished second with a time of 10.13, moving him to third on the season. Karo Oghomi finished 12th and moved into No. 47 in the country with a time of 10.41.
Tonie-Ann Forbes moved to ninth in the nation in the 100m hurdles with a time of 13.21, finishing third in the meet.
Time Rummelhagen, Shatalya Dorsett, Valentino Rudolph, and both 4x100 teams moved into the top 50 in their respective events. Rummelhagen's time of 23.88 gave him a second-place finish and the 33rd fastest time in the 400m hurdles. Dorsett ran a 23.88 in the 200m to finish fourth and sits at 48th in the nation, while Rudolph moved to No. 29 with a 20.96 to finish fifth for the men.
Osaretin Userbor, Jamara Patterson, Faith Tarver, and Jenaia Williams ran the third fastest time at the meet, 3:42.12, to move into 20th in the nation. Rummelhagen, Laeden Tucker, Rudolph, and Cullen Hronek teamed up to finish third at 3:16.09, the 41st fastest in the country.

The Bulldogs will participate in the 96th Clyde Little Field Texas Relays held at the Mike A. Mayers Stadium starting on March 27 and concluding on March 30.
