COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Louisiana Tech closed the 44 Farms Team Invitational on Saturday with seven season-best marks, five personal bests, and seven top-eight finishes at E.B. Cushing Stadium.
Elizabeth Sebera had her second top 10 finish of the meet with a distance of 159'3'' in the hammer throw for sixth, while A'reil Williams and Jiana Stewartburgess tied for seventh in the high jump at 5'5''.
Julian Forde, Rodney Heath Jr., Devin Walton, and Karo Oghomi started the running events with the 4x100 and ran a season-best of 40.28 to finish third, the 72nd fastest time in the country.
Tonie-Ann Forbes and Urijah Williams had solid times in the short-distance hurdles. Forbes just missed her personal best with a 13.23 to finish fifth in the 100m hurdles. Urijah Williams had his best time of the season in the 100m hurdles with a 14.69.
Five Bulldogs set their personal best in the 400m, led by Jamara Patterson for the women with a 54.18 to finish seventh. Jenaia Williams and Nia Willey set their own top marks with 56.84 and 56.91, respectively.
Cullen Hronek broke the 50-second mark for the first time with a 49.34, while Jacob Phillips was under 51 seconds at 50.56.
Heath Jr. continues to lead one of the top 100m groups in the country. He ran under 10.2 for the third consecutive meet and finished second with a 10.14.

Louisiana Tech travels to Lexington, Ky., the site of the NCAA Regional, for the Jim Green Invitational hosted by the University of Kentucky on April 19-20.
