BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Louisiana Tech's defensive stand wasn't enough as Tech fell to Texas A&M on Sunday night. The Aggies get two goals in the second half to beat LA Tech 2-0 at Ellis Field.

"Cadence saw a lot of chances but had a good game, and I'm also proud of how our backline competed tonight," Voltz said.
Later in the second half, LA Tech would give up back-to-back goals in the 57th and 58th minute, where Aggie forward Taylor Pounds netted two goals. The Aggies returned with 16 more shots in the second half, while Tech was outshot 30-2 in the contest. Rutledge came away with 12 saves on the night.
"I am proud of the effort from our team because they knew what they were up against. This game will help us in the long run with our development and growth as a team," Voltz said.
