RUSTON – Five Bulldogs head to Beaumont, Texas this weekend as Louisiana Tech takes part in the Joe Pyburn Memorial Tournament hosted by Lamar University.

ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH
Diana Starodubtseva, Nina Skoric, Maria Tsironi, Mio Kozaki, and Isabella Walker will compete in the weekend event.  Starodubtseva, who will play in flight one, collected three singles victories in the recent ITA Southern Regionals, including a marquee win over Florentine Dekkers of LSU.
 
Skoric will be in flight two for the Bulldogs.  The junior most recently played at the ACU Invitational, registering a pair of singles wins over Aoka Nagasawa of UTSA and Emma Petton of New Mexico State.  The remainder of the singles for LA Tech will be Tsironi in flight three, Kozaki in flight four, and Walker in flight five.
 
Starodubtseva and Tsironi will team up in doubles as will Kozaki and Skoric, who together earned Second Team All-Conference USA honors last season.
