RUSTON — The Louisiana Tech women's basketball team looks to get back into the win column when the Lady Techsters take on Jacksonville State on Saturday in the Pete Mathews Coliseum at 2:30 p.m. CT on ESPN+.

ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (13-10, 6-6)
Louisiana Tech's road woes continued with a 79-72 loss to Kennesaw State. The Lady Techsters started slow but fought back to take the lead heading into the fourth quarter. However, the Owls outscored Tech 30-21 to take the win.
 
Paris Bradley continues to make her case for Conference USA Freshman of the Year. The 5-9 guard finished with her fifth consecutive game of 17 or more points and ninth on the season. Bradley finished with 19 points on 7-9 shooting and six rebounds. During conference play, the Carrollton, Texas, native ranks fifth with 15.9 points and eighth with 3.2 assists per game.
 
Grad student Robyn Lee came close to reaching 1,000 points for her Lady Techster career. Lee finished with 18 points on 7-9 shooting, leaving her two points away from becoming the 45th player to reach the milestone at LA Tech. As the veteran leader, Lee has seen her scoring increase by 4.9 points and rebound improve by 1.3 boards a game over last season.
 
Jordan Marshall continues to leave her mark on the LA Tech record book. The freshman has seven double-doubles on the season, giving her the most by a Lady Techster freshman since Alisa Burras had 16 during the 1996-97 season. It is also the most since the 2021-22 season when Anna Larr Roberson had nine.
 
ABOUT JACKSONVILLE STATE (9-14, 3-9)
Jacksonville State comes into the contest having lost five consecutive games, including a 56-49 loss to Sam Houston on Thursday. The Gamecocks are 8-5 at home this season.
 
JSU is a balanced team with seven players averaging over five points a game, led by Bre'Anna Rhodes at 8.5. That leads to the Gamecocks averaging the 11th most bench points in the country at 28.5.
 
Jax State averages 27.6 three-point attempts a game to rank 11th in the nation, and their 8.3 makes ranks 29th. Mya Barnes, Valentina Saric, Clara Gonzalez Planella, and Maria Sanchez Ponce have made over 20 triples and shoot over 31 percent on the season.
 
Barnes also ranks fourth in CUSA with 31 blocks and 1.35 blocks per game. The senior averages 7.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 1.3 steals per game on the season.
