ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (14-14, 7-10)
Louisiana Tech dropped an 87-80 matchup with New Mexico State on Thursday. Paris Bradley had her third consecutive game of 20 points with 22 while adding six rebounds and six assists. Jianna Morris finished with 20 for her second straight 20-point performance. Jordan Marshall nearly had a double-double with 17 points and nine rebounds. Averi Aaron came off the bench and scored 10 points.

Bradley continues to have a phenomenal freshman campaign. The 5-9 guard has scored 20 points in three consecutive games and six total times this season, the seventh most by a freshman in Lady Techster history. Bradley is looking to become the first Lady Techster freshman to score 400 points since Tamicha Jackson in 1996-97 and is 32 points away from tying Jackson for the 10th most points by a freshman. The Texas native is also three assists away from cracking the top 10.

Marshall is also looking to move into the top 10 in rebounds for a freshman. The 6-0 forward is nine boards away from tying Angela Turner with 346. Marshall ranks third among freshmen in the country with 8.5 boards a game, and her nine double-doubles are tied for the second most.

Morris scored 20 points for the second consecutive game and third time this season. In her two seasons in Ruston, the 5-7 guard has started all 61 games in her Techster career. Morris has seen her average increase to 11.6 points a game this season.

ABOUT UTEP (11-17, 4-13)
UTEP picked up their fourth Conference USA game of the season with a 65-64 win over Sam Houston. Ivane Tensaie led the way with 22 points on 7-15 shooting with four 3-pointers.

Tensaie is the Miner's leading scorer with 13.1 points a game. The senior guard leads CUSA with a 38.5 three-point percentage and 2.75 threes a game. Tensaie has scored in double figures in 19 games this season.

Ndack Mbengue has been one of the top rebounders in the league, with 7.2 boards per contest. The 6-3 forward has eight double-doubles on the season and two other games with 10 or more rebounds. She contributes 8.9 points a game.

Portia Adams and Luisa Vydrova are the other top scorers for UTEP. Adams has a 9.6 average, while Vydrova contributes 9.5 a game. Adams and Portia have scored in double figures in 14 games but were held to five points combined the last time the Techsters and Miners played.
