Previewing the Golden Eagles
Oral Roberts enters Sunday's contest with a 3-2-0 record under head coach Austin Risenhoover. Native of Owasso, Oklahoma, Risenhoover began his fourth season at the helm of ORU's women's soccer program ahead of 2025.
In his first season as the gaffer, Risenhoover led the Golden Eagles to a 10-win campaign and advanced to the Summit League Championship match for the first time since 2016 before falling short in PKs to Omaha.
Risenhoover has led ORU to at least eight wins through each of his first three seasons, currently holding a career 30-26-12 record.
Oral Roberts is coming off their third-straight shutout victory following a 2-0 decision against Abilene Christian at a neutral site in Broken Arrow, Okla. The Golden Eagles opened the season getting shut out by Kansas State, 2-0, and Northern Colorado, 3-0, before beginning their three-match winning streak with clean sheets over Friends University and East Texas A&M.
Genesis Helsley is the only player for ORU with multiple scores this season and ties Brianna Castleberry for the most total points on the team. Castleberry is the only player with multiple assists, leading the squad with four and sitting at the second-most in the Summit League.
Eirini Manoukaraki has been the primary keeper in goal for Oral Roberts, clocking over 400 minutes thus far with three goals allowed in five starts. The freshman has etched a pair of outright shutouts with seven saves on 31 total shots faced.
