The women will head back to the course with Sawyer after she placed among the top three in each of her first two collegiate races. Bailey Springer, Delaney Lopez, Reece Knowlton and Brooke Fontenot will also look to help push the women's side stronger after solid performances at the Warhawk Invitational.
On the men's side, Brayden Vining secured the Bulldogs' top finish at the Warhawk Invitational, placing eighth. Joshua Dalton, Kaleb Weber, Zane Daniel, Arie Linton and Cameren Williams will also look to make an impact for LA Tech on the course.
Choctaw Trails is one of the premier true cross country courses in the South. It is host to the Mississippi high school state championships, as well as several college conference championships and the 2024 NCAA DIII South Region Championships. It has rolling grass hills, a few wooded trails, great spectator areas and grand stands at the finish.
