LA Tech shot four under (276) in round one, placing the Bulldogs in a tie for seventh after 18 holes. They would jump three spots on the leaderboard after following that up with another four under (276) round at the Magnolia Grove Golf Course.

Also registering a pair of rounds under par was

 The other three Bulldogs –
Riley Hnatyshyn,
Oskari Schuvalow, and
Seth Campbell – each carded a round of one under (69) and a round of two over (72), placing them in 38th. One of the highlights was that of Hnatyshyn who shot a bogey free 69 in round two, making birdie on the Par 4 No. 12 to go along with 17 pars.
