LAFAYETTE, La. – Louisiana Tech's
Riley Hnatyshyn shot two under in the final round Tuesday to finish tied for fifth among 92 golfers at the Louisiana Classics.

A day after shooting a career-low 67 (-5) followed an Even par 72 at Oakbourne Country Club, the senior was steady throughout his third round, shooting 35 on the front and the back to finish at seven under (67-72-70=209).

As a team, LA Tech shot Even par (288) for the second straight round, finishing 13th (289-288-288=865) at one over. The Bulldogs finished ahead of Texas State, South Alabama, and Southern Illinois.

Hnatyshyn's 70 was the low round of the day for LA Tech. Both
Abel Derksen and
Morton Bailey shot 72 (E) while
Oskari Schuvalow provided the fourth scorecard with a two over 74. Schuvalow had the next best individual finish for the Bulldogs, tying for 40th (73-69-74=216).

Texas A&M took home the team title, winning by seven strokes after shooting 24 under.
