WEST POINT, Miss. – Louisiana Tech carded rounds of 299 and 298 on Monday to complete 36 holes at the Mossy Oak Collegiate.
 
LA Tech sits tied for 16th with Middle Tennessee at 21-over par at Mossy Oak Golf Club.  The Bulldogs hold a one-shot edge over UTEP and lead ULM by four strokes heading into Tuesday's final round.
 
Riley Hnatyshyn was the bright spot in round one.  After opening with a bogey, the senior settled in, making just one more over his final 17 holes while adding back-to-back birdies on No. 5 and No. 6 to finish at even-par 72.
 
Morton Bailey followed with a one-over 73, highlighted by birdies on No. 8 and No. 12.  In round two, he posted a 74 while Hnatyshyn added a 75, leaving both tied for 42nd individually.
 
After shooting six-over 78 in round one, Abel Derksen bounced back in his second round, closing strong with three birdies over a five-hole stretch to finish with an even-par 72.
 
Seth Campbell contributed to both team scores, posting rounds of 76 and 77 on the day.
 
Ole Miss, ranked No. 15 nationally, leads the tournament by nine strokes over host Mississippi State.
