WEST POINT, Miss. – Louisiana Tech closed out its regular season on Tuesday with a final-round 304 (+16) at the Mossy Oak Collegiate.

The final round proved to be the most difficult of the tournament at Mossy Oak Golf Club, which played to a scoring average of 74.94 with just five holes yielding under-par averages. Â The Bulldogs slipped one spot on the team leaderboard, finishing tied for 17th with Conference USA foe Sam Houston at 37-over-par (299-298-304=901).

Abel Derksen led LA Tech in the final round with a 2-over 74. Â The sophomore caught fire on the back nine, recording four birdies over a five-hole stretch, including three straight on holes No. 16, 17, and 18. Â He finished the tournament tied for 53rd at 8-over (78-72-74=224).

Oskari Schuvalow posted his best round of the event with a 3-over 75. Â After sitting at 4-over through seven holes, the junior settled in and played the remainder of his round at 1-under, highlighted by birdies on No. 8 and 17.

Riley Hnatyshyn carded a 4-over 76 in the final round and was the Bulldogs' top finisher, tying for 45th at 7-over (72-75-76=223).

Morton Bailey and
Seth Campbell each added rounds of 7-over 79 to round out the LA Tech lineup.

Ole Miss and host Mississippi State shared team honors, finishing as co-champions of the event.

LA Tech will travel to Texarkana, Arkansas to take part in the 2026 Conference USA Men's Golf Championship. The event will run April 27-30 at Texarkana Country Club.
