RUSTON – Louisiana Tech is set for its final regular-season series as the Bulldogs welcome UTEP for a three-game Conference USA set beginning Thursday with a doubleheader at noon. Due to forecasted storms, no game will be played Friday. The series will conclude Saturday at 11 a.m., with Senior Day festivities to follow. All three games will be streamed on ESPN+.

Series History: LA Tech Leads, 28-17
The Bulldogs and Miners have met 45 times with LA Tech holding a 28-17 advantage. LA Tech has won the last five matchups including a three-game road sweep in El Paso last season.
Josh Taylor is 10-3 against the Miners with a 1-2 record against them at home.
ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH
LA Tech moved to 26-23 (12-12 CUSA) after handing Liberty its first conference sweep in 11 seasons. The Bulldogs outscored the Flames 26-9 in the series and held a 26-21 advantage in hits. Tech drew 19 walks, its most in a series this season and the most since drawing 18 against UTSA in 2022.
Gracie Flores was named CUSA Player of the Week after leading the Bulldogs with five hits (.500) and five RBI against Liberty. She added three walks and two runs scored. The redshirt sophomore started all three games at designated player, recording two hits and three RBI in Saturday's win and two hits and two RBI in Sunday's victory after collecting one hit in Friday's opener.
On Sunday, Flores delivered a one-out, two-RBI single in the fifth inning to score Tech's first runs as the Bulldogs plated eight unanswered to complete the series sweep. She enters this weekend riding a 15-game hitting streak and leads the team with a .400 batting average. Flores has 32 hits and 15 RBI.
Bryannah Campos earned CUSA Pitcher of the Week honors after picking up a pair of wins in relief against Liberty. The left-hander threw 12.2 innings with a 2.21 ERA across three appearances, allowing six hits and four runs while striking out six. She pitched at least four innings in all three outings.
Campos is tied for second on the team with seven wins. She has struck out 45 batters in 76.0 innings and holds a 3.59 ERA.
Allie Furr continues to pace the team in hits with 57, followed by
Elena Heng (53) and
Bradi Gallaway (46).
Reagan Marchant is up to 40 hits this season, while freshman
Aleah Brooks is one away at 39.
Marchant added a home run to her season total in the win on Sunday and is up to 16, three away from breaking her single-season program record of 18 in 2025. The redshirt junior is also three home runs away from becoming the program's career home run leader as she has 34 in her career. Marchant has 13 home runs in CUSA games this season which is tied for the most in CUSA history.
Marchant holds the team lead in RBI with 45 followed by Gallway with 44.
Reese Torres hit her fifth home run of the season on Saturday against Liberty and ranks third on the team behind Marchant and Gallaway (11).
Laney Johnson earned her seventh win of the season on Friday against Liberty after pitching 4.0 innings in relief. Johnson allowed no runs and just two hits while walking one. The sophomore ranks second on the team in innings pitched (79.0) and is tied with Campos with seven wins.
Ruby Fidge held Liberty scoreless in her outing against Liberty on Saturday, tossing 3.0 innings and allowing two hits. Fidge is 3-2 this season with a 2.63 ERA across 32.0 innings.
