RUSTON – The Louisiana Tech golf team will host the fourth annual Argent Financial Classic at Squire Creek Country Club in Choudrant, Louisiana, Sunday through Tuesday, Sept. 27-29.Â

The 'Dogs return to Ruston after competing in the Florida Atlantic Invitational last week, where they placed 7th and had three Bulldogs finish in the top 30.Â
Morton Bailey shot 212 (-4), finishing the tournament tied for 15th. Aidan Tudor was just one shot behind, a 213 (-5), landing him tied for 20th. Reda El Hali closed round three tied for 28th, shooting at 215 (-1).Â
Both Abel Derksen and Oskari Schuvalow look to bounce back from their rounds in Jupiter, FL. Derksen finished with a +8, while Schuvalow finished with a +19.
Last season, the Bulldogs finished the 2025 Argent Financial Classic tied for 7th. Three new players will take a spot in the starting five this season. Bailey and Derksen are the two returners. They finished tied for 15th and tied for 79th, respectively. Schuvalow (T-15th, 211), Gray Kingrea (41st, 216), and Alejandro Sanchez (99th, 250) competed as individuals.Â
