REDSHIRT SENIOR (2017)
• Was 25-of-33 on field goals and connected on 43-of-46 PATs for 118 points.
• The 25 field goals made and 33 field goal attempts each set a new single season program record.
• Recorded 82 kickoffs for 4,966 yards, an average of 60.6 yards with 29 touchbacks.
• Had five games with three made field goals.
• Connected on three field goals at South Carolina (9/23), including a 52-yarder.
• Made a season-long 53-yard field goal against UTSA (11/25) in the regular season finale.
• Went 3-for-4 on field goals versus SMU (12/20) in the 2017 Frisco Bowl.
• Finished career ranked second in overall scoring with 462 points (81 field goals and 219 extra points) -- most by a kicker.
• Finished career ranked first in program history in field goal attempts (103), field goals made (81), extra point attempts (226) and extra points made (219).
REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2016)
• Was 22-of-27 on field goals and connected on 77-of-78 PATs.
• Averaged 59.4 yards on 88 kickoffs with 22 touchbacks.
• Hit the game-winning 32-yard field goal in LA Tech's 48-45 over No. 25 Navy in the 2016 Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl.
• Broke his own school record for single-season scoring by a kicker with 143 points on the year.
• Broke the school record for extra points made in a single season with 77.
• His 27 field goal attempts ranked fourth in school history and tied for second with himself for most field goals made in a single-season (22).
• Ended the season ranked third all-time in LA Tech history with 56 career field goals made, nine shy of tying the record set by Josh Scobee.
• Ranked second in program history with 78 extra point attempts on the season and ranked second in program history with 180 extra point attempts in his career.
REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2015)
• Was 22-for-26 on field goal attempts on the season with a long of 50 yards while averaging 59.4 yards on 88 kickoffs with 22 touchbacks.
• The 22 made FGs was the second most in a single season in program history while the 126 points was the most ever in a single season by a kicker.
• Made a perfect 60-for-60 extra-point attempts which was the second most in program history.
• Barnes connected on four of five field goal attempts against Kansas State (9/19). Barnes made a 45 yard field goal, which tied a career long, with time expiring to send the game into overtime. Barnes then connected on a 32 yard field goal, to help send the game into a third overtime.
• Connected on field goals from 41 and 50 yards, while recording seven kickoffs for 425 yards (10/3).
• Hit a 19-yard field goal late in the first quarter and also connected on a game winning field goal from 32 yards out with 10 seconds remaining with his first game-winning field goal to lift Louisiana Tech over UTSA (10/10).
• Tied a career high by going a perfect 4-for-4 on field goal attempts from 50, 20, 28 and 22 yards versus Arkansas State (12/19) in the 2015 R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl.
• The 50-yard field goal in the first quarter tied a career high while also tying a New Orleans bowl record and was good on all five extra-point attempts, tying a Louisiana Tech bowl record.
REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2014)
• Was 12-for-17 on field goal attempts on the season with a long field goal of 45 while averaging 59.1 yards on 38 kickoffs with four touchbacks and two kicks out of bounds.
• Hit a 36-yard field goal at No. 4/3 Oklahoma (8/30) and averaged 52.5 yards per kickoff in Bulldog debut.
• Hit two field goals - including a long kick of 42 yards - and averaged 61.6 yards on five kickoffs at UL-Lafayette (9/6).
• Connected on two of three field goals - with a long field goal of 45 yards - in a 55-3 win over UTEP (10/4).

• Graduated from Woodlawn High School in 2013, lettering in football, soccer and golf.
• Received all-district honors all four years in football.
