2023: Appeared in 44 games, including 37 starts all at designated hitter ... Slashed .250/.470/.322 (BA/SLG/OBP) with seven home runs, eight doubles, 27 RBIs, and 21 runs scored ... Had five multi-hit games, including two contests with three base knocks ... Had eight games with multiple RBIs ... Registered a six-game hitting streak and a 13-game on-base streak ... Went 3-for-4 with two RBIs versus Nicholls State (2/24) ... Went 3-for-5 at the plate in midweek contest against Sacramento State (3/28) ... Belted a pinch-hit, grand slam in home win over UL-Lafayette (3/9) ... Recorded two solo run home runs in the C-USA Championship against Charlotte (3/24) and Middle Tennessee (3/25).

2022: Played in 43 games and made 28 starts for the Bulldogs (25 at DH and three at first base)... Slashed .213/.426/.325 (BA/SLG/OBP) with six home runs, five doubles, 24 RBI and 22 runs scored... His first career hit as a Bulldog came on a Wednesday night at Southeastern Louisiana (3/2) as he belted a two-run home run to left field... Recorded a two-homer night on the road at ULM (3/15) for the first multi-home run game for a Bulldog this year... Went 8-for-20 over a five game hit-streak from 4/6-4/15 with three home runs, two doubles and 10 RBI... Picked up a pinch-hit walk-off single to drive in two in the semifinals of the C-USA Tournament against Old Dominion (5/28)... Named to the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll...

2021: Made 21 appearances and totaled 13 starts... Picked up the start at first base in the Green Wave's season opener against Louisiana-Lafayette... Collected his first RBI of the year in game two against Louisiana-Lafayette (2/20)... Notched a pair of hits at eventual 2021 national champion Mississippi State (2/28)... Picked up a pair of hits at home against Wichita State (4/17) and drove in a run against the Shockers... Posted a double and a RBI in game three at nationally-ranked ECU (5/8)... Drilled a solo home run against Houston in the first game of the American Athletic Conference Championship (5/25)... Picked up a pair of hits against USF (5/29) in the AAC Tournament. 

Prior to Tulane: Burchfield arrives in Uptown following two seasons at Hinds Community College where he helped the Eagles to a 26-20 mark as a freshman and a 12-2 record during his sophomore campaign…Made an immediate impact on the team, as he batted .370, drilled four home runs and drove in 40 RBI en route to earning Second Team All-State honors…Finished his career at Clinton High School in Raymond, Mississippi where he was a career .350 hitter…He also hit 10 home runs and drove in 47 RBI…Earned a total of eight varsity letters…Also started in football, as he helped guide Clinton to the 2017 State Championship…Plans to major in Business Management.
