2014-15 (Hinds CC): Spent two seasons as a catcher at Hinds where he led the Eagles in at bats (185), hits (68) and doubles (17 – Tied 1st) while ranking second on the team with a .368 average as a sophomore. He totaled 39 RBI’s and a .422 on base percentage to earn second team MACJC All-State.
High School: Lettered in both football and baseball at Ouachita Christian School (OCS) in Monroe under head coach Micah Harper … Earned all-district, all-state and All-NELA honors while also being named District MVP … Hit .520 as a senior and .360 as a junior … Helped lead the Eagles to three straight state championship in both football and baseball in 2010, 2011 and 2012.
