RUSTON -- The Louisiana Tech Lady Techster tennis team will play its inaugural match at its new home facility located by the football field house on West Alabama Avenue Sunday morning when it hosts Grambling State at 10 a.m.
The match will be a part of all the activities surrounding "Tech Fest" this weekend as LA Tech fans will get an overdose of Bulldog and Lady Techster athletics during the next four days (Oct. 16-20).
Tech Fest starts Thursday (Oct. 16) as the Lady Techser volleyball team will host Boise State at the Thomas Assembly Center at 7 p.m.
On Friday, the Lady Techster bowling team will be competing at Holiday Lanes in Bossier starting at 10 a.m., while the Lady Techster soccer team will host Fresno State at Ruston Junior High School at 7 p.m.
On Saturday, the defending Western Athletic Conference Tournament champion Lady Techster softball team will conclude its fall season as they host Ranger Junior Collge in a doubleheader starting at 10 a.m.
Tech's volleyball team will host Idaho at the Thomas Assembly Center at 2 p.m. while the Lady Techster bowling team will compete at Holiday Lanes in Bossier starting at 2:30 p.m.
The Bulldog football team will also host the Vandals at Joe Aillet Stadium at 6 p.m. in Western Athletic Conference action.
"Tech Fest" concludes on Sunday with the Lady Techster bowling team competing at Holiday Lanes in Bossier at 9:30 a.m., the Lady Techster tennis team hosting Grambling State at 10 a.m. and the Lady Techster soccer team hosting Nevada at noon at Ruston Junior High School.
