RUSTON, La. - The Louisiana Tech tennis team will head south to take on Southeastern Louisiana at noon Saturday. The Lady Techsters (1-3) will face the Lady Lions (1-1) in a match that will give Tech a strong test.
"We lost our last match to Stephen F. Austin," said Tech coach Quintin Yray, "but the girls battled in all their matches. Southeastern has a very strong team, and it will be a good challenge for our team. I'm looking forward to playing them."
SELU opened the season with a loss to No. 53 South Alabama before defeating Alcorn State on Wednesday. Tech opened the season with a loss to Lamar and a victory over Prairie View A&M. In action last weekend, Tech fell to both UT-Pan American and SFA.
Following this weekend's match Tech will hit the road for UL-Lafayette and McNeese State.
