Fall World Series: Games Four and Five Postponed

Nov. 2, 2010

RUSTON, La. - Due to inclement weather in Northern Louisiana, Tuesday and Wednesday night's Fall World Series games between the Blue Team and the White Team at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park have been postponed.

Game four of the Fall World Series will now be played Thursday at 6 p.m. while Friday's game will now become a doubleheader with a game one first pitch scheduled for 3 p.m.

Louisiana Tech will operate Friday's doubleheader under the new Western Athletic Conference guidelines for twin bills. The first game Friday afternoon will be played to seven innings with the second game playing a full nine innings. However, if game one extends into extra innings, game two automatically becomes a seven inning game.

The Blue Team currently holds a 2-1 advantage in the Louisiana Tech Fall World Series after winning games two and three.

The Louisiana Tech Fall World Series concludes Saturday morning at 11 a.m. with game seven.

Tech opens the 2011 campaign on Feb. 18-20 as the Bulldogs host Southern Illinois, Nicholls State and Grambling State as part of the Louisiana Tech Baseball Classic.
