RUSTON, La. - Louisiana Tech opens the tennis season with a pair of dual matches this weekend in Hattiesburg, Miss.

The Lady Techsters face Jacksonvile State at 10 a.m. on Saturday and then take on the host school, Southern Miss, at 10 a.m. on Sunday.

Tech returns three players from last season's squad including No. 1 singles player Vivian ten Dolle. The sophomore from the Netherlands was an all-Western Athletic Conference performer last season.

Head coach Quintin Yray is in his fifth season at Tech and looks to build last year's 8-18 record including it's first-ever WAC win.
