SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Due to steady rainfall in the area and a forecast that calls for more of the same, game three of the Western Athletic Conference series between Louisiana Tech and San Jose State has been canceled and won't be rescheduled.

The Spartans won the first two games of the series 4-2 in 10 innings and 7-0 on Friday.

Tech returns home to host Northwestern State Wednesday at 6 p.m. The Lady Techsters will host defending WAC champion New Mexico State Friday and Saturday in a three-game series in Ruston.
