RUSTON - Due to the heavy rains that hit the north Louisiana area last night, Louisiana Tech's non-conference softball game scheduled for today against Northwestern State has been postponed.

Tech head coach Sarah Dawson said a make-up date hasn't been determined yet.

The Lady Techsters will host defending Western Athletic Conference champion New Mexico State in a three-game series this weekend. Friday's single game is scheduled for 6 p.m. while Saturday's doubleheader is scheduled for 1 p.m.

Admission to all Lady Techster softball games is free.
