SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Victor Lange fired a team best 2-under-par 69 to finish tied for eighth individually and led the Bulldogs to an 11th place finish at the Oak Hills Invitational Tuesday in San Antonio.

Louisiana Tech's final round score of 290 (6-over-par) allowed the Bulldogs to jump Central Arkansas, Louisiana-Lafayette and Rice in the team standings on the final day of competition. LA Tech finished just five strokes behind Tulsa.

Lange tied with Oklahoma's Michael Gellerman for eighth place, finishing at 2-over-par (75-71-69=215) for the tournament.

Chuck Spears and Ben Robinson each tied for 40th as they both shot 10-over-par 223 in the tournament. Robinson finished Tuesday's action with an even-par 71 while Spears fired 3-over-par 74.

Jake Pritchard placed tied for 76th, firing a 23-over-par 236 over the three-round tournament while Brandon Newton rounded out Tech's five in 83rd, shooting 27-over-par 240.

Louisiana Tech returns to action on Feb. 23-24 as the Bulldogs will compete in the Mobile Sports Authority Intercollegiate in Mobile, Alabama.
