RUSTON, La. - Louisiana Tech Softball will still host its LA Tech Triple Play tournament this weekend with Detroit-Mercy and Southern but it will have a South Louisiana feel to it. Due to recent inclement weather and field conditions, the LA Tech-hosted tournament will be played at Southern University in Baton Rouge instead of Ruston.

The game times for Saturday's and Sunday's games remain the same but the order of contests has changed. Louisiana Tech will open the LA Tech Triple Play at 10 a.m. Saturday against Southern at Lady Jaguar Field on the Southern University campus and then will face Detroit at 12:15 p.m. The final game Saturday will feature Southern vs. Detroit.

On Sunday, Louisiana Tech will face Detroit at 10 a.m. and then the Lady Techsters will play Southern at 12:15 p.m. Capping off the tournament at 2:30 p.m. will be Detroit vs. Southern.
