March 22, 2015 RUSTON, La. - Louisiana Tech's men's golf team returns to action Monday when it competes at the Wallace Jones Invitational hosted by Louisiana-Monroe at the Black Bear Golf Club.
The 54-hole tournament will be played over two days with 36 holes beginning Monday morning and the final 18 holes Tuesday on the 7,200 yard, par-72 course.
The Bulldogs will face a challenging field and will be paired with host-ULM, Valparaiso and Western Texas in the first day of competition.
Other teams competing in the tournament include UALR, Stephen F. Austin, Jackson State, Oakland, UT Pan American, New Orleans, Nicholls State, Nebraska Omaha, Savannah State, Southern Arkansas and North Dakota State.
Leading the Bulldogs will be Victor Lange, the junior that recently finished third at the Lamkin San Diego Classic, placing one stroke shy of two nationally-ranked individuals.
Also representing Louisiana Tech will be Ben Robinson, Hayden Frederick, Ryan Alford, Brandon Newton, John Lewis Sams, Mitchell Haddox and Jake Pritchard.
Of that group, five will compete for the team score with the remainder competing as individuals.
