TEXARKANA, Ark. - Louisiana Tech shot 11-over-par and Ben Robinson led the Bulldogs with an even-par round as Louisiana Tech finished eighth on the final day of stroke play action at the 2015 Conference USA Men's Golf Championship at the Texarkana Country Club Tuesday.

The Bulldogs were 26-over-par (293-298-299-890) for the three-round, 54-hole stroke play tournament, finishing just two strokes behind Middle Tennessee and Old Dominion's matching 24-over-par 888 score. LA Tech edged UTSA by three strokes as the Roadrunners were 29-over-par 893.

All 13 teams carded over-par scores Tuesday admist cold temperatures, 10-12 mile per hour winds and off-and-on rain throughout the day.

Victor Lange was the top finisher for Louisiana Tech as he tied for 13th at 3-over-par (72-73-74=219) for the tournament after a 2-over-par 74 performance Tuesday.

Ben Robinson posted his best single-round score in a conference championship event as his even-par 72 led the team on the day. He finished the tournament at tied for 23rd as he jumped 18 spots with a final card of 6-over-par (73-77-72=222).

Jake Pritchard was off to a solid start Tuesday as he was an even-par through nine holes (Louisiana Tech started play Tuesday on Hole No. 10) but struggled after the turn, finishing 7-over-par 79 on the day. The junior finished the tournament at 12-over-par (74-75-79), placing tied for 47th.

Mitchell Haddox tied for 53rd as he carded 13-over-par (74-73-82=229) for the tournament. After two solid rounds, the redshirt freshman struggled over the final 18 holes with a 10-over-par round Tuesday.

John Lewis Sams finished strong with a 2-over-par performance Tuesday, six strokes better than Monday's round for the sophomore. That improvement moved Sams up three spots as he placed 60th overall at 15-over-par (77-80-74=231).

While the team's season is likely complete, Lange awaits a potential at-large selection to the NCAA Regionals. Last season Lange was selected for an at-large Regional spot as he was ranked 171st in the country, becoming the first Bulldog to receive a regional bid. The junior entered the C-USA Championship ranked 76th in the country and is likely to receive an at-large bid for the second consecutive year.
