Oct. 11, 2016 IRVING, Texas - Contests involving both the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs and Lady Techsters will be part of the Conference USA ESPN3 package this season, which includes a total of 24 games (14 men's, 10 women's).
Head coach Eric Konkol and Co. will have three games broadcast by ESPN3 - accessible on WatchESPN and the ESPN app - including its non-conference tilt at Nebraska (Nov. 19) and its C-USA match-ups at Charlotte (Jan. 12) and at Middle Tennessee (Jan. 28).
The Bulldogs 2016-17 season tips off on Nov. 11 when LA Tech plays at South Carolina and includes 17 home games in Ruston. The season will culminate with the 2017 Conference USA Basketball Championship on March 8-11 in Birmingham, Alabama.
Head coach Brooke Stoehr and the Lady Techsters will have one game broadcast by ESPN3 when they travel to Denton on Jan. 21 to face North Texas. The Lady Techsters open their season Nov. 11 at home against LSU, one of 15 home games in Ruston which also features another SEC opponent in the Auburn Tigers. The season will also culminate with the 2017 Conference USA Basketball Championship on March 8-11 in Birmingham, Alabama.
ESPN3 will also present LIVE video streaming from C-USA Media Day this week, featuring interviews with men's coaches later today, beginning at 4 p.m. ET/3 p.m. CT, while the women's show will air Wednesday, Oct. 12, at 10 a.m. ET/9 a.m. CT.
Each school will be on in 10-minute increments and the show will also be archived on WatchESPN and ConferenceUSA.com for all viewers. Bulldog head coach Eric Konkol is scheduled to go on at 3:30 p.m. today (Tuesday) and Lady Techster head coach Brooke Stoehr will be at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
