RUSTON -- Louisiana Tech golf will head south this weekend to compete in the eighth annual David Toms Intercollegiate hosted by LSU at the University Club.
Head coach Jeff Jenkins Bulldogs will be in a field of 14 teams, including the host and 5th ranked Tigers, Central Arkansas, DePaul, UL-Lafayette, ULM, McNeese State, Navy, North Texas, Pennsylvania, South Alabama, Southeastern Louisiana, Southern Illinois and Western Carolina.
The 54-hole event will include the first two rounds on Saturday starting with a 8:30 a.m. shotgun start and then the final 18 holes on Sunday starting at 8:30 a.m. The Bulldogs will be paired with LSU and UL-Lafayette on Saturday's first two rounds.
Tech's five-man team for the event will consist of Felix Palson, Luke Neely, Charles Neel White, Joacim Ahlund and Hunter Glenn while Karsten Green will play as an individual.
The University Club is a par 72 course which will play 7,220 yards for the tournament.
