RUSTON – Louisiana Tech wraps up the regular season with a trip to Mississippi to participate in the Mossy Oak Collegiate, an event hosted by Mississippi State University.  The Bulldogs last competed in this event in 2024.

ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH
LA Tech will be one of 19 teams participating in the event.  The field features 10 teams ranked in the top 75, including a trio of SEC squads – Ole Miss, Alabama, and Vanderbilt – that are top 20 in the nation.
 
Morton Bailey will head the Bulldog lineup after leading the way in LA Tech's last event the Maridoe Intercollegiate in Carrollton, Texas, tying for 25th at the event.  The sophomore anchors the team with five top 20 finishes this season, owning a stroke average of 73.11 with 14 rounds at or under par.
 
Just like Bailey, Oskari Schuvalow will be competing in his 11th event of the season.  The junior, who tied for 50th at the Maridoe Intercollegiate, has a stroke average of 73.57.  Also tying for 50th was Abel Derksen who has a stroke average of 73.91.
 
Seth Campbell and Riley Hnatyshyn will round out the Bulldog roster.  Hnatyshyn ranks second on the team in stroke average at 73.48 and owns the best individual finish, tying for fifth at the Louisiana Classics.
