POST-GAME QUOTES

On the loss:

"There are so many things that turn into the overall picture, but there is no question Ge'Lawn Guyn was dymanic tonight. He made timely shots in a lot of different ways."

On the offensive run in the first half:

"That has been who we are all year. We play off our defense. We need to score in transition. That is what we did at the end of the first half. We did it at times in the second half. There were some rebounds we let go through our hands. They got second chances. We just did not get enough stops."

On Alex Hamilton:

"I told the players in the locker room that I will always remember this senior class because it was my first as a head coach. I am very happy for Alex who has had a cherry on top to his career as conference player of the year and the all-time wins leader. I am very happy for him and his success. Tonight, he had another stat line that we saw throughout this season. He played 40 minutes. He will certainly be missed."

On Dayon Griffin:

"There are so many young guys that gained experience this year. Dayon is a very good shooter. He improved at that this year. He has put in the work and he made five threes tonight. He also had seven rebounds. He has a chance to really grow and be a fine player."

On the season:

"We are always trying to improve. I thought we improved as the year went on. We did not finish well to the regular season and these two tournaments. We need to improve on that in the future. I am proud of the guys. From the number of lineups we put together, the different environments, being new to it all in this league, I am pleased at some of the things we did. As a coach, we are never satisfied."
