RUSTON, La. – The No. 9 Louisiana Tech women's bowling team will compete in the Sam Houston State-hosted Track Kat Klash on Friday and Saturday in Conroe, Texas.
Â
"This weekend is almost a repeat of our home tournament," head coach
Matt Nantais said. "It will be another strong field in which we are going to have to be at the top of our game in order to be successful. We will not have a step ladder finals, so total pins will be the deciding factor of place finish."
Â
LA Tech will take on No. 2 Vanderbilt, No. 5 Sam Houston State, Prairie View A&M and Texas Southern during the tournament.
Â
The Lady Techsters will compete in five Baker games on Friday beginning at 8:15 a.m. (CT), followed by five traditional matches on Saturday starting at 8:15 a.m. The tournament champion will be determined by total pins over the two days.
