RUSTON – The No. 9 Louisiana Tech Bowling team opens its 2025-26 season at the Southwest Intercollegiate Bowling Conference (SWIBC) I & II tournaments in Fort Worth, Texas, at City View Lanes on Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday's SWIBC I event begins at 9:00 a.m. and will consist of four traditional team games followed by 10 baker matches. The SWIBC II tournament on Sunday gets underway at 8:30 a.m. and will include either five or six traditional team matches.
The Bulldogs will travel all 10 players to Fort Worth, as LA Tech will have two teams of five in each event.
LA Tech has won the SWIBC I three straight years, while they have won the SWIC II four straight seasons.
The Bulldogs finished last season with an 84-47 record, earning their fifth straight NCAA regional appearance. LA Tech ended the year ranked No. 11 in the country.
