BATON ROUGE, La. – Louisiana Tech head south Wednesday for a match-up against No. 6-ranked LSU at 6 p.m. at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge.

The Lady Techsters (2-6) are coming off a weekend that saw them play three straight one-run games, dropping two of the three. Tech defeated Evansville 4-3 Saturday afternoon in Mobile, Alabama, to end the weekend on a positive note.
LSU (8-1) already has three wins over Top 25 teams, including a pair of victories over No. 14 Oklahoma State and one win over No. 11 UL-Lafayette. The Tigers have outscored their opponents 48-9 on the season and are hitting .292 as a team.
Taylor Pleasants (.522, 2 HR, 7 RBI), Taylor Tidwell (.389, 2 HR, 9 RBI), Ciara Briggs (.368, 5 runs) and Georgia Clark (.353, 2 HR, 5 RBI) lead LSU offensively.
