RUSTON, La. – Fresh off a historic 2019-20 season,
Matt Nantais added a talented freshman to his 2020-21 squad when Baileigh Snow signed her letter of intent this week.
Snow hails from Murfreesboro, Tennessee and will be the fourth Tennessean on the Lady Techster roster. She is the only signee in the class to date.
"I'm very excited that Baileigh will be joining us next year. I have watched her compete over the past few years at multiple national events. She always carried herself in a manner that exemplifies what we do here at Louisiana Tech," said Nantais. "Baileigh is going to bring a competitive spirit to the team which will help push everyone to be better. I am very excited to see what this team is going to do next year."
Snow is the 2019 Georgia Tournament of Champions winner and a six-time Junior Gold qualifier. She also qualified for the Tennessee State Championship all four years at Blackman High School and placed in the top-ten on each occasion.
"I'm really excited for the upcoming season and can't wait to be a part of the LA Tech Family," Snow said.
The Lady Techsters closed out the 2019-20 season ranked 11
th in the nation with a 64-34 record. Tech made history when it qualified for the USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships and was set to compete in the Dallas Sectional before the season was cut short in March.
