RUSTON, La. – The No. 9 Louisiana Tech women's bowling team continues its fall slate this week as the Lady Techsters are set to compete in the Sam Houston-hosted Track Kat Klash from Friday to Sunday.

ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH
Tech opened the 2021-22 season by competing at two SWIBC events in October. LA Tech won the second event after registering 6,779 total pins. Junior
Danielle Jedlicki was named the tournament MVP after recording the first perfect game in program history to finish the event with an individual pinfall of 1,505. LA Tech then placed second at the Colonial Lanes Classic after finishing the event with a tournament best 12-1 mark.
Louisiana Tech is coming off of a historic season as the team earned its highest ranking in program history as the Lady Techsters were ranked fifth in the National Tenpin Coaches Association February Poll. Tech made its first national championship appearances at both the 2021 National Collegiate Women's Bowling Championship and the Intercollegiate Team Championship (ITC). At the NCAA Tournament, the Lady Techsters registered the first perfect Baker game in program history after bowling a 300.
LA Tech competed in 14 events and placed in the top-five at nine tournaments during the 2020-21 season. Tech finished second at four tournaments, including the Southland Conference Championships. Then-senior

Allie Leiendecker were named to the 2021 All-Southland Bowling League Third Team. Leiendecker was also named a NTCA All-American honorable mention.
Head coach
Matt Nantais is in his sixth year at the helm of the Louisiana Tech bowling team after leading the Lady Techsters to the five most successful seasons in program history.
