RUSTON, La. – Louisiana Tech head women's bowling coach
Matt Nantais announced the signing of transfer
Patricia Rosales (Orlando, Fla./Prairie View A&M) on Monday.

"I think I can speak for the whole team when I say we are very excited to have Patricia joining us this year," Nantais said. "Patricia is a fierce competitor and will fit into the culture we have at Louisiana Tech. Over the last couple of weeks, she has competed in a few national tournaments and represented herself very well. Patricia will definitely be a key component as we continue striving for a national championship."

Rosales spent the previous two seasons at Prairie View A&M. As a freshman in the 2019-20 season, Rosales was named the Southwestern Athletic Conference Bowler and Freshman of the Year after posting a league-best average pinfall of 198.32 per game during league play. She was named to the All-SWAC First Team in both her freshman and sophomore seasons. Rosales was the 2021 SWAC Women's Bowling Championship Most Valuable Bowler as she lead PVAMU to claim the 2021 SWAC Women's Bowling Championship. Rosales competed in the 2021 USBC Intercollegiate Singles Championship as the No. 6 seed.

Rosales graduated from Evans High School in 2019 where she competed in bowling and softball. She was named the
Orlando Sentinel's Bowler of the Year in 2017 and was a four-time first team all-conference honoree. Rosales was a two-time member of the all-city team, was a part of the TNBA national and regional championship teams and was a two-time Pepsi champion. Rosales was a two-time member of Team USA, was a junior gold champion in 2019 and was the double champion Eagles winner at the 2015 Open Championship.
