ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH
Louisiana Tech placed fourth at the season-opening Jim Rivers Intercollegiate after finishing the tournament with a -10 (286-279-289=854). Fifth-year senior
Sam Murphy was the individual champion after finishing the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate with a -13 (68-68-67-203). His -13 (203) mark tied for the lowest three round individual score in Jim Rivers Intercollegiate history.
Head coachÂ
Matt Terry is in his fifth year at helm of the Bulldog program. In the 2020-21 season, Terry was named the Louisiana Sports Writers Association (LSWA) Men's Golf Coach of the Year. LA Tech finished in the top-10 in seven tournaments, including three top-five finishes: LaTour Intercollegiate (1st, -12), Jim Rivers Intercollegiate (4th, -4) and Linger Longer Invitational (4th, -4-276=564).
