ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (6-2)
LA Tech extended its winning streak to four with a 5-2 victory over Texas State this past Sunday. The Lady Techsters took the doubles point and then grabbed singles points on courts, two, three, four and six.

The team is 26-19 overall in dual singles and 16-6 overall in dual doubles, having won nine of their last 10 doubles matches.Â
Ilana Tetruashvili (7-1) has won six straight in singles while
Olga Bienzobas (5-3) has won four straight.

The duo of
Leonie Schuknecht and
Ana Rodrigues continue to dominant at the top spot in doubles, having won six straight for a 7-1 record. Bienzobas and
Alexia Romero have won three straight for a 5-2 record.

ABOUT SAM HOUSTON (3-3)
After opening up the spring with two victories over Prairie View A&M, Sam Houston has dropped three of its last four matches to UTSA, Nicholls State and Southern Miss (all on the road). The three losses were close defeats as the Bearkats picked up at least two points in each one.

Sam Houston is 20-12 overall in dual singles and 8-9 overall in dual doubles. Three Bearkats are undefeated in singles play so far this spring – Sunskrithi Damera (5-0), Petra Kaszas (3-0) and Sahithi Vutukuru (5-0).

LA Tech trails in the all-time series with Sam Houston, 10-12. The Bearkats have won the last three meetings with the last one coming in Huntsville, Texas with a final score of 5-2.

ABOUT MURRAY STATE (4-2)
Murray State had its three-game winning streak come to an end this past weekend with a narrow 4-3 loss to Lipscomb. The Racers only other loss was also a 4-3 defeat at Marshall back in January.

The team is 25-11 overall in dual singles and 15-1 overall in dual doubles, having won the doubles point in all six matches this spring.Â

Sunday will be the fourth meeting ever between LA Tech and Murray State. The two teams have faced off each of the past two seasons with the Lady Techsters winning both by scores of 4-3 and 5-2.
