No. 7 LA Tech Bowling Gets Final Tune-Up Before Conference

No. 7 Tech competes in Nashville at Music City Classic

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The No. 7 Louisiana Tech women's bowling team will compete this weekend in the Columbia 300 Music City Classic hosted by Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tenn.

ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH
Louisiana Tech recently qualified for the USBC National Championships at their qualifying event in Addison, Ill. last weekend. The Techsters rallied Sunday for a third-place finish after a sluggish Saturday start. Tech competed against 15 other programs vying for a top-four spot to move on to the national tournament. 
 
The USBC national championship is scheduled for April 18-23 in Addison, Ill. and will be comprised of the top four teams from four sectionals. 
 
Averi Brown qualified during Friday's individual qualifier and is one of 32 participants who will compete for an individual national title in April.

Louisiana Tech has finished in the top five in eight of their nine events this season posting two tournament wins and three runner-up finishes.

The Techsters are 58-13 in qualifying matches this season and have been absolutely dominant on the Friday portion of the tournament schedules this year and during the 2022 portion of the schedule, they have posted seven wins over top-five programs.
