ORLANDO, Fla. – The No. 9 Louisiana Tech bowling team posted its second straight 4-1 day on the lanes Saturday, rolling a 4,999 to sit second out of 24 teams with a 10,023 total pinfall through two days.
The Bulldogs opened day two with four straight traditional wins over Texas Southern (1,028-788), Prairie View A&M (990-873), No. 21 Valparaiso (1,040-991) and Bryant (1,017-874) before falling 1,081-924 to No. 2 Nebraska.
Juliana Kerrigan sits second individually after rolling a 1,164 (233, 245, 207, 236, 243) on Saturday. Jenna Stretch is eighth with a 1,042 (201, 222, 228, 225, 166).
LA Tech holds an 8-2 record with four ranked wins through 10 matches, averaging 200.5 pins per player per game.

"Over the past two days, we have experienced some ups and downs, but thankfully, there have been more ups than downs. Both of our losses came from us not executing to our full ability, but overall, this weekend has been really solid. We have one more match tomorrow morning, and as long as we take care of business, we will have a great chance to compete for the championship."

We will come out with the same game plan we have had the last two days and see what happens.
