LA Tech Begins Road Trip at Little Rock Wednesday Night

The Bulldogs will face off with Little Rock for the second time this season at 6 p.m.
RUSTON, La. – Louisiana Tech starts off the four-game road trip with a stop in Little Rock to face the Trojans Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Gary Hogan Field.

ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (28-13, 12-6 C-USA)
LA Tech is coming off of a five-game homestand winning both midweek contests over Little Rock 10-0 and Northwestern State 6-4. Middle Tennessee came into Ruston for a conference series and took two out of three games from the Bulldogs.
Taylor Young leads the squad in 10 different offensive categories. The senior shortstop remains at the top of the conference in runs scored with 53 and puts him inside the top ten in the nation. Young now sits at 226 career games played as a Bulldog tied with Parker Bates. Wednesday night's contest will place Young at 227 games played, the most by any Bulldog player.
Ryan Harland and Kyle Crigger have been dominant out of the bullpen for LA Tech. In 28.2 innings, Harland posts a 0.64 ERA and Crigger posts a 1.31 ERA in 41.1 innings with eight saves.
Greg Martinez will make his sixth straight midweek start on Wednesday in Little Rock. Martinez racked up eight punch outs last time out versus Little Rock going seven scoreless innings in a 10-0 win. The right-hander posts a 4.41 ERA in 34.2 innings while rocking a 38 to 12 strikeout-to-walk ratio.

Little Rock rolls into play having lost its last seven games after facing No. 17 Texas State over the weekend.
The Trojans offense comes into Wednesday with a .290 team batting average with Noah Dickerson leading the squad with a .358 average with seven homers, 14 doubles and 29 RBI. Canyon McWilliams sits right behind him hitting .343 with and leads the squad with six homers.

The Bulldogs and Trojans will meet for the 86th time on Wednesday night with the Bulldogs leading the all-time series 60-25. The two schools met just last week in Ruston with the Bulldogs taking the contest 10-0. 2019 was the last time LA Tech and Little Rock faced off at Gary Hogan Field. The Bulldogs came out victorious in a 12-inning ball game.
