RUSTON, La.- After a weekend off, the Louisiana Tech women's bowling team returns to action competing at the Jackson State-hosted Sonic Boom Invitational in Fannin, Miss. January 20-22.

ABOUT LA TECH
LA Tech is coming into the Sonic Boom Invitational after finishing 4th at the Stormin' Blue & White Vegas Classic. On Day one, the Lady Techsters went 3-2 in Baker play with a total of 5,025 pins putting them in 4th.
Day two consisted of five traditional games. The Lady Techsters began by defeating the 2022 National Champion runner-up, SFA, and finished the day 4-1, but were dropped down to the No. 6 seed to enter day three. For the first time in school history, all five starters (
Patricia Rosales, 213.40;
Allie Leiendecker, 205.0,
Danielle Jedlicki, 203.8;
Averi Brown, 203.2,
Lindsay Manning, 200.6) finished with over a 200 average.
The final day of play was made up of three best 4-of-7 Baker matches. LA Tech went 2-1, beating Maryville and Maryland Eastern Shore before falling to No. 4 Nebraska to claim the 4th place title.Â
