The lone goal scored at Houston came off the foot of Lauren Egbuloniu. The junior notched her team-leading third goal of the season and the eighth of her career. She has already matched her season high for goals scored with three (scored three as a freshman in 2021).

The Bulldogs look to extend their home unbeaten streak to six. They ended last season at Robert Mack Caruthers Field with two victories and a draw and have produced a 3-3 tie with ULM and a 1-0 shutout win against McNeese State this season. It is the longest home unbeaten streak at Robert Mack Caruthers Field and the longest in the program since 2018-19.

Nicholls' Lauren Andre was named the Southland Conference Defensive Player of the Week recently, having scored three goals for the Colonels during their weekend home stand.  She became the first Colonel to earn a SLC weekly honor since 2019.
