OXFORD, Ala. – The 2024 Bulldog Cross Country season finished Saturday morning with the Conference USA Championship at Choccolocco Park. The women finished in 10th, and the men finished tied for ninth.
 
Senior Rebecca Quebedeaux, freshman Laney Lopez, and junior Lexa Thompson led the way in the women's 6K. They finished in 62nd (23:53), 70th (24:27), and 76th (24:59).
 
In the men's 8K, freshman Landon Byrd (61st, 26:57) and sophomore Dillon Moree (70th, 27:39, PR) finished at the top for the Bulldogs. Not far behind them were sophomores Arie Linton (75th, 28:12, PR) and Jayce Wimbish (76th, 28:23).
 
Additionally, two runners set new personal records. Bailey Springer finished 77th with a time of 25:00. Behind her was Betchina Amy, finishing 87th with a time of 28:26.
