Tech Hits the Road to Take on McNeese State in Midweek Matchup
RUSTON, La. – The Louisiana Tech baseball team travels to McNeese State in its first midweek game of the 2024 season. It will be the first road matchup of the season for the Bulldogs.

ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (7-0)
Tech is off to a 7-0 start for the first time since 2017 after two home series sweep against Northern Colorado and Kent State.
The last time the Bulldogs had a seven-game win streak was in 2022. Tech ranks 11th in the nation in ERA, ranking number one in strike-to-walk ratio. Sam Brodersen leads the team, currently in strikeouts with 11, followed by Grant Hubka and Turner Swistak with 10.
ABOUT MCNEESE STATE (4-4)
McNeese State is on a four-game win streak after sweeping New Mexico State at home this past weekend. McNeese State had lost its previous four games to No. 8 Texas A&M and ULL.
THE SERIES
The Bulldogs and the Cowboys last played each other on March 6, 2022, when the Bulldogs lost 5-2 to the Cowboys in Lake Charles. Tech took the series after a win in game one and game two of the series. Tech is also 80-46 against McNeese State in the all-time series between the two programs.
